I just bought a Flip HD the other day.  It cost around $200 at my local bestbuy.  Now first thing I liked when I opened it up was that it came with a soft case that can be used for cleaning the lens.  That’s a big plus in my book, when you open the box you will expect more accessories… don’t, it is a very maintenance and accessory free camera!  It charges from the flip out usb connector and needs no memory sticks.

SO on to what really matters.  Video quality.  The quality is good, it does shoot in 720P which is a plus for youtubers, although there is no image stabilization.  But it is not hard to get a good stabilizer or build your own custom one for this camera.  I might do a tutorial later on for everyone, just remind me.  =)

Almost forgot, for those of you that use WMM regularly to edit your videos, Mp4′s will not import into Windows Movie Maker for you, you would have to convert it before importing.  You would be better off using Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas.

If it’s still in theaters near you STOP reading this article and go watch it. Since I just recently got back from Iraq this movie really hit close for me, they are dead on with the details. This movie is about an EOD Bombsquad and the experiences they have and what it did to them. It had me hooked from the start, it really starts out good, the movie keeps a running pace and never deviates from the message. I will say that the ending wasn’t what I had in mind but I still liked it! Plenty of good explosions for the action movie buffs out there, and plenty of deep undertones for people who need something to think about. I really think it’s a good blend. Now I won’t say anymore because I don’t want to give too much away, but trust me this is a movie you’ll want to see.
